O presidente Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva entregou, nesta segunda-feira (29), ao presidente da C\u00e2mara dos Deputados, Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB), um projeto de lei complementar que amplia para R$ 140 mil o teto de faturamento do microempreendedor individual (MEI). Atualmente, o limite \u00e9 de R$ 81 mil por ano. No Brasil, estima-se que cerca de 13 milh\u00f5es de profissionais estejam nessa condi\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

A proposta prev\u00ea ainda a possibilidade de contrata\u00e7\u00e3o de at\u00e9 dois empregados.<\/p>\n

“\u00c9 uma medida que corrige uma defasagem hist\u00f3rica, fortalece os pequenos neg\u00f3cios, incentiva a gera\u00e7\u00e3o de empregos e garante mais condi\u00e7\u00f5es para milh\u00f5es de brasileiros continuarem crescendo com seguran\u00e7a e dignidade”, disse o presidente em publica\u00e7\u00e3o nas redes sociais<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Segundo o governo, a atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o atende a um pleito do setor e corrige uma defasagem desde 2018, quando o teto atual entrou em vigor.<\/p>\n

Urg\u00eancia<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lula pediu a Motta que o projeto seja votado o mais rapidamente poss\u00edvel “para que a gente possa favorecer aquelas pessoas que mais precisam de cr\u00e9dito”.<\/p>\n

Ao receber a proposta, Motta afirmou que a medida pode ter ampla repercuss\u00e3o entre os trabalhadores.<\/p>\n

“Se o valor fosse corrigido pela infla\u00e7\u00e3o desde a \u00faltima atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o, h\u00e1 pouco mais de oito anos, o teto estaria hoje em R$ 125 mil. \u00c9 realmente um gesto do governo, uma constru\u00e7\u00e3o coletiva com o Congresso, para seguirmos juntos nessa parceria em favor do pa\u00eds”, afirmou.<\/p>\n

Escalonamento<\/strong><\/p>\n

O projeto prev\u00ea aumento gradual do teto de faturamento. Em 2027, o limite passaria para R$ 110 mil e, em 2028, chegaria a R$ 140 mil.<\/p>\n

Segundo o governo, a proposta integra um conjunto de medidas voltadas aos empreendedores, que inclui tamb\u00e9m linhas de cr\u00e9dito.<\/p>\n

O ministro do Empreendedorismo, Paulo Pereira, afirmou que os pequenos neg\u00f3cios movimentam a economia de milhares de munic\u00edpios brasileiros, geram empregos e criam oportunidades.<\/p>\n
